BMW has caused some surprise today at Toronto's Canadian International Auto Show by unveiling its 1 M Coupe and X1's pricing for Canada before they arrive in dealerships this year.

Canadians will have to pay $53,600 to get one of the 200 copies of this mean little machine powered by a twin-turbo 3.0-litre inline-6 dishing out 335 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque.

Finally, the little X1 will be priced from $38,500.
